Cheddar Cheese Sauce {quick and easy Homemade Recipe}

Ingredients

  • 120 g gratted cheddar cheese
  • 200 g fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon flour or cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine the cream, white wine, sifted flour and cornflour until the flour has dissolved. Heat gently.
  • After 2 or 3 minutes, add the grated cheddar, smoked paprika and garlic.
  • Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cheddar cheese has melted.
  • Season with pepper and serve immediately, or leave to cool.
