Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.Cook it gently in a casserole dish (cast iron) with olive oil. Add the beef and cook for 10 minutes.
Add the chili, cumin, crushed tomato and incorporate everything into the beef.
Add salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes.Finally add the drained red beans and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes. You can serve with rice and a little chopped flat-leaf parsley.
