Walnut and Chocolate Pie

I use a pie pan about 22 to 24 cm in diameter.

Ingredients

  • 1 shortcrust pastry (around 250 to 300 g)
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 200 g blanched walnuts
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 20 cl cream

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • Prepare your tart base and place it in a tart dish.
    Precook the dough for 5 to 10 minutes.

MEANWHILE, PREPARE THE GARNISH

  • Mix the nuts and chocolate.
  • Beat the eggs with the sugar then add the cream and mix.
  • Add to the nut-chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Pour into your pre-cooked tart shell and bake for around 20 more minutes.
    If your pie is not cooked, extend the cooking for 5 or even 10 minutes.
  • Wait until the tart is warm or cold before eating.
