In a saucepan, brown the pressed garlic and finely chopped onion.
Then add all the ingredients, except the cream, and cook covered for around twenty minutes. Check the pumpkin for cooking by inserting a knife into it; it must be well cooked.
Then place all the ingredients in the bowl of your multifunction robot fitted with the slicing knife. Then mix until you obtain a very smooth velvety consistency.
Serve in bowls then add a little cream, salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
For mixing, I used the pulse function of my robot. Do not hesitate to mix in two batches if the bowl of your food processor is too full.
