Cottage Cheese with Wild Garlic

Ingredients

  • 200 g fresh cheese or cottage cheese
  • 20-40 fresh wild garlic leaves
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 handful toasted pine nuts (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Wash, sort, and dry the wild garlic leaves.
    Place them in the bowl of a small food processor and blend, or finely chop them with a knife.
  • Add the cream cheese, salt (optional), and pepper. Mix well with the chopped wild garlic leaves.
    Pour into a bowl.
  • Drizzle with a tablespoon of olive oil.
    If you like, you can toast some pine nuts in a hot pan and then sprinkle them over your fresh cheese as a garnish. It's also a delicious accompaniment to any dish.
  • Serve it with toast or breadsticks, for example.

Notes

Don't add too much salt, adjust to your taste as the cheese is sometimes already quite salty.
