Crispy Carrot Fries with Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Freshly grated Parmesan or Pecorino

Instructions

  • Wash and peel the carrots.
  • Cut them into pieces of about 4 centimeters and cook for 15 to 20 minutes in boiling water.
  • Drain and cut each piece into 2 or 3 slices.
  • Place them on a baking sheet and crush with a flat glass.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C/350°F.
  • To be enjoyed as an appetizer with the sauce of your choice.
