Prep Time:15 minutes
Cook Time:25 minutes
Course: Dessert
Servings: 6 personnes

Ingredients

  • 1 pure butter puff pastry
  • 3 or 4 firm-fleshed apples such as Pink Lagy or Golden
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons liquid salted butter caramel

Or as a substitute for caramel

  • 2 tablespoons melted semi-salted butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C.
  • Roll out your puff pastry on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  • Prick the dough with a fork to prevent it from puffing up during cooking.
  • Peel and core the apples, then cut them into very thin slices. Arrange them in a line on the puff pastry or in a rosette.
  • Heat your caramel in the microwave or in a bain-marie so that it is liquid and easy to spread.
Using a kitchen brush, spread the caramel on the apple slices.
  • Bake in the bottom of the oven and cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
Watch the cooking carefully, it can vary a little depending on your oven.
  • Serve warm or cold, with or without a scoop of ice cream. Enjoy it!
