Pan Fried Oyster Mushrooms Recipe with Garlic

Pan Fried Oyster Mushrooms Recipe with Garlic: a simple pleasure to try without delay!
These delicate and fragrant mushrooms bring a real gourmet touch to our autumn and winter dishes. Their tender texture and their pretty gills that gracefully descend on their foot make them an ingredient as beautiful as they are tasty. But be careful, they tend to harden over time, so I advise you to cook them quickly after purchase.
Before sautéing them, they must be cleaned properly. Like other mushrooms, oyster mushrooms do not tolerate water well. So simply cut off the base of the foot and, if necessary, brush them gently with a kitchen brush to remove small impurities.

How to cook oyster mushrooms?
Cooking-wise, nothing complicated, but choose a pan large enough to prevent the oyster mushrooms from overlapping and releasing too much water. Personally, I simply brown them with a mixture of butter and oil, before adding pressed garlic and finely chopped flat-leaf parsley. In a few minutes, they reveal all their flavor.

How to serve oyster mushrooms?
As an accompaniment to roast meat or in sauce, with mashed potatoes for a comforting dish. They go wonderfully in a creamy risotto, eggs cocotte or a soft omelette. I also like to eat them with pasta with or without cream. And recently, I had the idea of slipping them into a vegetarian pie with seasonal vegetables… A real treat! I’ll share the recipe with you soon…
So, get your pans ready! Oyster mushrooms are just waiting for you to delight your taste buds.
