These pancakes are more than just a morning treat. They combine natural and nutritious ingredients that offer many health benefits:
- Banana: rich in fiber, antioxidants, nutrients and naturally sweet, it allows you to do without sugar in the base of these pancakes, while providing energy.

What to serve with your banana pancakes?
These crepes are delicious as is, but can be enhanced with simple and delicious accompaniments:
- Fresh fruit: add banana slices, blueberries or strawberries for a boost of freshness.
- Syrup, honey or jams: a drizzle of maple syrup or honey brings a natural sweetness and goes perfectly with banana. For jams, my favorites: lemon bergamot jam, lemon curd, mirabelle jam…
- Nuts or seeds: sprinkle your pancakes with pecans, crushed walnuts or chia seeds for a crunchy touch.
- Yogurt or almond puree: for a creamy and protein-rich option, add a spoonful of plant-based yogurt or almond puree.
And what’s more, this recipe is really an anti-waste tip, since it is an ideal solution for using overripe bananas. The more spotted they are, the sweeter they are, which improves the taste of your pancakes without the need to add sugar.
