Chickpea Flour Galette Recipe
So here’s this delicious recipe, perfect for accompanying salads or as an aperitif, to be dipped in homemade sauces.
I made it last year to accompany a feta cheese cream. Here are some ideas for dips you might like:
I really like this recipe, which is a bit like socca (in spirit), for those who know it, but less oiled 😉

What ingredients do you need to make this healthy chickpea flour galette recipe?
- chickpea flour
- water
- sunflower oil
- salt and pepper
- cumin seeds
- garlic powder
I love serving these chickpea flour patties as an aperitif, but you can also serve them with a nice salad and some grilled meats.
You can also add vegetables such as grilled zucchini cubes or finely sliced fresh onion. This is a healthy, gluten-free main course.
Chickpea Flour Galette Recipe
Ingredients
- 200 g chickpea flour
- 300 ml water
- sunflower oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Pour the water and half the chickpea flour into a bowl.Mix well with a whisk.Add remaining flour and mix again.
- In a frying pan, lightly toast the cumin seeds, then add them to the paste with the garlic powder. Add a little salt and pepper, then mix again.
- Leave to rest for 30 minutes.
- Heat a frying pan with oil. When hot, pour in a ladleful of batter and spread quickly with a spatula.This will enable you to obtain the desired thickness.
- Then cook for 2-3 minutes on each side (personally, I like them grilled).Repeat until the dough is finished.
