Chickpea Flour Galette Recipe

I made this Chickpea Flour Galette recipe last year and completely forgot to share it with you.
It was when I wanted to make it again a few days ago that I realized I’d made a mistake, as I couldn’t find the recipe on the blog. It had been left as a draft…

So here’s this delicious recipe, perfect for accompanying salads or as an aperitif, to be dipped in homemade sauces.
I made it last year to accompany a feta cheese cream. Here are some ideas for dips you might like:
I really like this recipe, which is a bit like socca (in spirit), for those who know it, but less oiled 😉
These galettes can also be cooked with finely sliced fresh onion, which is a real treat. You can even slip in a few fresh peas when they’re in season…

What ingredients do you need to make this healthy chickpea flour galette recipe?
- chickpea flour
- water
- sunflower oil
- salt and pepper
- cumin seeds
- garlic powder

I love serving these chickpea flour patties as an aperitif, but you can also serve them with a nice salad and some grilled meats.
You can also add vegetables such as grilled zucchini cubes or finely sliced fresh onion. This is a healthy, gluten-free main course.

Very easy to make in the blender and very tasty.
We topped ours with salad and grilled red peppers, aubergine and halloumi.

Your topping seems very good. 🙂
Hello,
I’m just trying these now, but while I’m waiting for them to cook, I thought I’d tweak the English a bit, as you requested. It’s perfectly understandable as it is-bien fait!
Pour the water and half of the chickpea/gram flour into a bowl.
Mix well with a whisk.
Add the remaining flour and mix again.
In a frying pan, lightly toast the cumin seeds, then add them to the batter with the garlic powder. Add a little salt and pepper, then mix again.
Leave to rest for 30 minutes.
Heat some oil in a frying pan. When hot, pour in a ladleful of batter and spread quickly with a spatula.
This will enable you to obtain the desired thickness.
Then cook for 2-3 minutes on each side (personally, I like them browned).
Repeat until the batter is finished.
THANKS so much !
I changed it… 🙂
