Minced Beef Samosa Recipe

Minced Beef Samosa: an easy, crispy and tasty recipe
This beef samosa recipe is really easy, quick, and always a hit at the table. It’s the kind of dish that requires little effort but is always a success at home. I particularly like folding them into triangles, like samosas, both for their aesthetic appeal and their practicality: they’re easy to eat from the point.
At home, brick pastry sheets are one of those things I almost always keep in the fridge, especially in the summer. They’re so handy for whipping up a delicious meal with whatever’s left in the cupboards or fridge. I make all sorts of them and vary the fillings depending on what I’m in the mood for (I’ve even included some other recipe ideas further down the page). But I have to admit that this version with minced beef is a real favorite. Between the crispiness of the filo pastry and the generously flavored filling, it’s hard to resist.
I like to serve these beef briks with a large mixed salad for a complete, fresh, and balanced meal. They also go very well with Harira soup for a more substantial meal. If you don’t have briks on hand, filo pastry works very well too, giving an equally crispy result.
To accompany these beef samosas, I’ve prepared a simple cream cheese sauce that adds a delicious touch of freshness. You can easily personalize it by adding a pinch of curry powder, cumin, or some fresh herbs to your liking. My version of the seasoning is included in the recipe, but feel free to adjust the spices to your taste or what you have on hand.
For an even more indulgent version, you can also add a little cheese to the filling. Kiri or Laughing Cow cheese pair perfectly with beef and create an irresistibly melty center. Allow about half a portion per samosa for a balanced result.
Regarding folding, you’ll find detailed diagrams at the end of the recipe. But don’t worry, there’s more than one way to do it. You can fold them into triangles, roll them up like spring rolls, or shape them into rectangles, as you prefer. The important thing is to wrap the stuffing well so that it retains all its moisture during cooking.
Baked Minced Beef Samosa Recipe

How do you prepare minced meat bricks?
There are several cooking options. Personally, I prefer baking them in the oven, as in this recipe. I particularly appreciate the even crispness it produces while minimizing the amount of fat used. But you can certainly cook your bricks in a pan, lightly oiling each side before turning them halfway through. Finally, for an even crispier and more indulgent version, they can also be deep-fried in hot oil.
Whichever method you choose, the result is always delicious: a puff pastry with minced beef, crispy on the outside and melting on the inside, perfect for a friendly meal without spending hours in the kitchen.
