This moist Chocolate and Almond Cake Easy recipe is a must-try! It’s so quick and easy to get ready for great results that once you try it, you’ll want to do it again!
The month of October is a birthday month in our family so we might as well tell you that we knew how to make and redo this recipe to refine it and make it just perfect, while remaining very simple.
Chocolate and Almond Cake Easy Recipe
At first I used softened butter but the dough was a little soft. For version 2, I melted the butter with the chocolate and it was much better, especially for stirring the dough and the result was very soft after cooking.
And for this last version, I added dark chocolate chips and it’s really great! I think it really adds more character to this cake.
So if you’re like me and you like the deep taste of dark chocolate, don’t hesitate to add these chips but it’s not essential. And if you enjoy a slice of lukewarm cake, these nuggets will still be soft, a real treat!
You can also replace them with milk chocolate chips, children love them.
And I dedicate this chocolate cake to my little gril who is turning 6 today! And I made this recipe with her. She loves to cook, to my greatest pleasure. 🙂

- powdered sugar (personally I like to use whole cane sugar)

Chocolate and Almond Cake Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- 150 g dark pastry chocolate + 5 tablespoons of water
- 80 g semi-salted butter
- 3 eggs
- 80 g powdered sugar
- 60 g flour
- 60 g almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 50 g dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a saucepan in a bain-marie, melt the dark chocolate pieces with the 5 tablespoons of water and the butter cut into cubes.Stir gently until well combined.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until very frothy.
- Gradually add the flour and sifted yeast while mixing.Also add the almond powder and mix well.
- Pour the chocolate-butter mixture over the preparation in the salad bowl and stir well.
- Finally add the chocolate chips and mix, aerating the dough.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- Pour into a lined cake tin and bake for 30 minutes.Leave to cool for 5 minutes before unmolding.
- Serve slightly warm, you will enjoy it!
