Have you ever made homemade chocolate truffles? If not, you absolutely must try them, because they’re so simple to make and a real treat for the palate!
This is a traditional French recipe that we make every year at Christmas.
When I told Fab that I’d made chocolate truffles, he was delighted and at the same time conflicted, as his great-aunt used to make delicious ones. He told me that what he liked most was the light sensation of the little grains of sugar he felt on his tongue as he ate them.
As I had of course tasted one before giving it to him to taste, I couldn’t wait. Anyway, he loved it and the kids nearly fainted with pleasure 😉 They’d only eaten one and were already asking me if I could make them again…. Hahhhahahhahha !!!!
I might as well tell you that I had a hard time keeping these few truffles to photograph. This is often my biggest problem when I make the recipes I share here…
In any case, I’m delighted to offer you this original version of chocolate bonbons, and I’ll also give you a few ideas if you’re looking to vary the pleasures while starting from the same base.
