This little Garlic and Chive Cottage Cheese dip recipe that I often make in spring to accompany raw vegetables as a starter or as an aperitif. I also use it by incorporating diced cucumber in summer or radish. It’s very fresh and a real treat!
I recently cooked chicken meatballs (the recipe for which I will share soon) and this sauce goes great with it too.
And what’s great about this recipe is that it’s ready in just a few minutes and keeps in the refrigerator for 1 or 2 days.

What ingredients do you need to make this recipe?
- cottage cheese, before making this recipe with Greek yogurt, it is also very good and very delicious, but since my dietary rebalancing last school year, I readjusted a few ingredients and the cottage cheese is really delicious in this recipe, with a very creamy texture too but less rich (in terms of calories) than Greek yogurt. You can also use stirred yogurt.
- a small finely chopped shallot
- a small pressed garlic clove
- a few sprigs of fresh herbs (chives, parsley, mint, dill), finely chopped
- salt and pepper
- a few drops of lemon and zest (optional)
Ingredient details and instructions are available further down the page in the recipe card.
