I can’t believe I haven’t shared my homemade pancake recipe with you yet! Here, it’s like pancakes: as soon as we get past October and into April, we’re eating them regularly.
I don’t know how you like your pancakes, but personally I prefer them with maple syrup. I also like pancakes with a dab of butter, sugar and a squeeze of lemon juice.
Either way, they’re so easy to make, you can’t go without them for weekend breakfasts. I made them in my KitchenAid stand mixer, which makes preparing these pancakes even easier, and there’s nothing more to clean up than when you make them by hand: a bowl and a whisk and that’s it ;-).

Homemade Pancake Recipe
Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 50 g butter
- 60 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 40 cl whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Sift the flour and baking powder into the bowl of your stand mixer. Add the sugars and salt.
- Add the eggs, melted butter and a little milk then start working the dough at low speed with the whisk of your food processor.
- Gradually add the rest of the milk while whisking, still at low speed, until the dough is smooth.
- To finish, cook the pancakes in a lightly buttered and very hot pan.Pour in half a ladle of mixture and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until small bubbles form on the surface.Flip with a spatula and cook for 2 minutes on the other side.
