Do you know Sparkling Negroni sbagliato ?
I discovered this cocktail during my visits to Milan. Having family in this beautiful northern Italian city, I go there several times a year.
Aperitivo is a great tradition in Milan and you are often served a small assortment of things to nibble on with your drink. Sparkling Negroni sbagliato is THE cocktail of Milanese social events.
I heard it was invented in an old brewery-bar that still exists and I have to admit that they are very, very good and very impressive in size.
I really must share with you one day my good addresses in this beautiful Italian city…
I like very much the bitter notes of this cocktail and that’s why I propose it to you today. It is very pleasant throughout the year (being careful not to overdo it…), especially for the end of year celebrations, but it will also be perfect for a sweet summer evening….
Do you know that Negroni sbagliato means to tell you that it’s a “fake” Negroni because it’s made with Gin instead of Prosecco, and it really makes your head spin… 😉
